My biography

Indeed it’s very difficult to know how to start so I decide to write as my free thought. I’m not a writer and I do not want to become a writer, too. But I’m learning to be a blogger and write anything I like, things I meet in my daily life, about my family and my baby…

Procrustes in modern dress, the nuclear scientist will prepare the bed on which mankind must lie; and if mankind doesn't fit-well, that will be just too bad for mankind.

What is a UAV ?

The UAV is an acronym for Unmanned Aerial Vehicle, which is an aircraft with no pilot on board. UAVs can be remote controlled aircraft (e.g. flown by a pilot at a ground control station) or can fly autonomously based on pre-programmed flight plans or more complex dynamic automation systems. UAVs are currently used for a number of missions, including reconnaissance and attack roles. For the purposes of this article, and to distinguish UAVs from missiles, a UAV is defined as being capable of controlled, sustained level flight and powered by a jet or reciprocating engine. In addition, a cruise missile can be considered to be a UAV, but is treated separately on the basis that the vehicle is the weapon.

Aerostar Unmanned Aerial Vehicle, Israel

Aerostar is a tactical unmanned aerial vehicle (TUAV) designed and built by Aeronautics Defence Systems for the Israel Defence Force (IDF) to execute intelligence, surveillance, target acquisition and reconnaissance operations. The medium altitude, long endurance vehicle can capture real time intelligence data over a large area and transfer it to a ground control station (GCS) through a satellite communication data link

Su-47 (S-37 Berkut) Experimental Fighter Aircraft, Russia

The Sukhoi Design Bureau of Moscow, Russia has developed the Su-47 (previously called the S-37 Berkut or Golden Eagle) fighter aircraft, which first flew in September 1997. Su-47 is in a forward-swept wing configuration and uses a highly unstable triplane (with three main lifting surfaces) aerodynamic configuration. The Su-47 was introduced in January 2000 and completed the first stage of flight trials in December 2001. The aircraft is operated by the Russian Air Force

Critical Analysis

Colonel Medved's observations on the Russian effort to develop and deploy a new generation of digital VHF search and acquisition radars to support Ground Controlled Intercept (GCI) and Surface to Air Missile (SAM) batteries reflect very closely a number of items published in the Russian military and industry press.

Grisha's Stealth «Pidgeon Shoot»

Ten years ago, Grisha much concerned about Amerikanski ‘Stealth’ weapons. F-117A spyplane fly anywhere, drop bomb and make much trouble. Nobody catch Nighthawk at night. Fighter planes like F-22 Raptor very fast and powerful, cannot see in time to catch him before target. Destroy SAM batteries like S-300 and open holes in defence for other attack. Even slow F-35 effective, cover battlefield and attack SAMs and army troops and tanks on ground. Do much damage.

PAC-3 Patriot Missile – Surface to Air Missile – Raytheon

Surface to Air Missiles or SAM’s are a crucial addition to every countries military force.

F-22 Raptor

The F-22 program is developing the next-generation air superiority fighter for the Air Force to counter emerging worldwide threats. It is designed to penetrate enemy airspace and achieve a first-look, first-kill capability against multiple targets. The F-22 is characterized by a low-observable, highly maneuverable airframe; advanced integrated avionics; and aerodynamic performance allowing supersonic cruise without afterburner.

F-16 Fighting Falcon

Genesis of the successful F-16 fighter/attack aircraft lies in reaction to severe deficiencies in US fighter design revealed by the Vietnam War.
